Audit Sprint
Why do we check as many as 147 technical points?
Silesia Performance Lab has been operating in Katowice since September 2016. In that time, we've seen hundreds of IT company sites that looked nice but failed technically. An Audit Sprint is not a report from a free bot that generates 50 pages of pointless text. It's manual craftsmanship. For 10 business days, we check specific parameters: from server response time (we average a reduction to 215ms for our clients) to JavaScript errors blocking Google's robots.
First Stage: What the robot sees, and you don't
In the first 3 days, we focus on indexing. In July 2024, we helped a company in Gliwice that had 2,840 unnecessary test subpages indexed. This was wasting their crawl budget. We catch such things immediately. We check robots.txt files, sitemaps, and HTTP headers. Data speaks for itself – fixing technical errors often gives a larger ranking boost than buying expensive links for six months.
Second Stage: Speed and Core Web Vitals
Days 4-7 are a battle for milliseconds. We use paid tools and our own scripts to check why a site is sluggish. We don't write generalities. We point to a specific 1.4 MB image file slowing down mobile loading. We analyze Cumulative Layout Shift and Largest Contentful Paint. A specific audit is specific profits – shortening load time by 1.2 seconds in one of our March 2024 projects translated into a 14% conversion increase within two months.
Third Stage: Content Architecture and Linking
At the end of the sprint, we look at structure. We look for keyword cannibalization, where two of your subpages fight for the same spot in Google. Often, it's enough to merge two articles into one strong one to jump into the top three results. We also check internal links. Is your most important service only three clicks from the home page, or must a robot struggle through ten menu levels?
What ends up on your desk after 10 days?
We deliver a document that your programmer will understand without a translator. It's a task list ordered by priority. At the very top are things you can fix in an hour that will give the greatest effect. We don't promise miracles, but we guarantee that after implementing our recommendations, your site will stop fighting itself. Since the start of 2024, we've conducted 43 such sprints for software house and e-commerce companies – their average visibility growth in Google Search Console 3 months after implementation was 27%.
